  • چکيده
    The swift digitization of Industrial Operations has given rise to Industrial IoT (IIoT); nevertheless, existing centralized architectures are becoming progressively susceptible to Single Points of Failure (SPoF), data manipulation, an‎d extensive cyber-attacks. The expansion of smart cities, coupled with the dependence on the Internet of Things (IoT) for real-time governance encompassing everything from utility management to traffic control presents a substantial, insecure attack surface. This seminar introduces a resilient Blockchain-Enabled IoT (BIoT) Framework, specifically engineered to fortify the "Perception Layer" of governmental infrastructure. Through the integration of lightweight cryptographic protocols an‎d decentralized ledgers, the proposed framework obviates the need for central servers, thereby ensuring that data acquired from edge devices is timestamped, immutable, an‎d verifiable. This study offers a critical assessment of the "Blockchain Trilemma" within the context of public sector applications, specifically examining the inadequacies of conventional Proof of Work (PoW) consensus mechanisms in addressing the high-throughput an‎d low-latency requirements of urban networks. As a result, this research supports the implementation of lightweight consensus models, including Proof of Authority (PoA) an‎d modified Byzantine Fault Tolerance (BFT), which are capable of achieving milliseconds-fast finality, making them well-suited for emergency response systems. Moreover, the incorporation of smart contracts is investigated as a means of automating administrative processes such as procurement an‎d identity management thus mitigating Operational delays an‎d corruption. In conclusion, this seminar illustrates that the convergence of decentralized ledgers with edge intelligence offers a scalable, privacy-preserving framework for the forthcoming era of resilient digital governance.
