Effective communication plays an important role in improvement across construction projects. With the increasing adoption of internet-based technologies, traditional communication barriers are being addressed through digital tools that support real-time collaboration, information sharing, an‎d decision-making. This seminar examines the impact of various internet communication technologies on construction productivity, focusing on cloud-based platforms, Building Information Modeling (BIM), mobile applications, real-time messaging, video conferencing, an‎d sensor-based systems. A review of 27 peer-reviewed studies highlights how these tools improve coordination, reduce rework, accelerate response times, an‎d strengthen stakeholder relationships. However, technological adoption alone is not sufficient, success depends on clear communication planning, leadership support, user training, an‎d integration into existing workflows. The analysis also identifies key barriers such as fragmented tool use, resistance to change, poor data security, an‎d lack of long-term eva‎luation. Case studies from different regions demonstrate measurable improvements in project performance when digital tools are implemented strategically. The seminar concludes with practical suggestions for improving communication efficiency an‎d proposes future research directions, including the need to measure return on investment, support small contractors, an‎d explore emerging technologies like virtual reality an‎d swarm intelligence. Overall, the findings emphasize that while digital tools offer significant benefits, their effectiveness is determined by organizational an‎d human factors just as much as by technical capabilities.
