Abstract:
One of the ideas to increase the efficiency of cyclone separation system is to use a spiral concentrator. In this thesis, the aim is to assess the effect of the clean gas embedded valve geometery, which according to the experimental studies the output angle, length, main & subsidiary flow with the sticking position will tested as the important parameters.
Intended length number are 6.5, 8, 9.5 cm and for the angle are 17.5, 35, 52.5 degrees. These experiments have been performed with the main flow of 40, 60, 80 m3/hr & the subsidiary flow of 3, 4, 5 l/sec & two position for the embedded valve.
The results indicate that the efficiency of the concentrator hase a reverse proportion with the angle & direct proportion with the length. Thus, by ioncreasing the length & decreasing the angle the amount of absorped dust will be decreased & the efficiency will be increased. Also by increasing the main flow to 80 m3/hr & decreasing the subsidary flow to 3 l/sec the efficiency will rise significantle. In the experiments the highest efficiency which have been achived, us 99.82.
