Abstract
Supplier evaluation is one of the most important activities in supply chain that it have a significant effect on company performance in cost, quality and on delivery time. Supplier evaluation and selection is a Multiple Attribute Decision Making(MADM) problem. In this research, a hybrid model based on fuzzy QFD, fuzzy AHP and fuzzy TOPSIS techniques is used to evaluate and select the suppliers in an automobile part manufacturer as named North Melt Industries Company. Fuzzy AHP technique is used to determine the weights of company's requirements and suppliers evaluation criteria. QFD technique is used to revise the weight of company's requirements in comparison to rival companys' requirements and fuzzy TOPSIS technique is used to rank the company's suppliers. To deal with the vagueness in decision making process of supplier selection, the techniques are used in Fuzzy state. In case study, eleven criteria are chosen to evaluate the suppliers. Responsiveness and flexiblity of supplier is recognized as the most important criteria and third supplier is selected as the best supplier.
