Pumps are classified as turbomachines which their task is to transfer fluid. Pump flow rate accuracy is very important when the pump can’t be used with normal structure. For this reason, designing micro-pumps is stated. In fact micro-pumps are a type of pump that pumps the fluid flow rate on a microliter per minute scale and controlling the amount of fluid in them is very accurate. Micro-pumps are used in transporting drugs in medicine, cooling micro-electronic parts, space exploration and…. Reviewing micro-pumps without micro-diffuser valves has been done in this article. In this type of micro-pump the valve actuator elements are removed and are replaced with the nozzle and diffuser element which eliminates the problems caused by mechanical fatigue. The purpose of this paper was to improve the performance of the micro-nozzle-diffuser by numerical solving using Ansys15. Effective design parameters such as pressure, nozzle angle, area and type of fluidity according to its density and viscosity due have been examined. Numerical solving indicated that at different pressures, the optimal angle is different and the flow rate graph based on the nozzle angle, has extreme maximum. The results also show that for fluids with high dynamic viscosity of 0.1 (kg / m.s), micro-diffuser nozzle is not sufficient.
