Organizations used to work in stable circumstances formerly , confronting with more predictable events , as the managers could organize within more reliable condition , however incredible rapid changes in different platforms of science and technology have increasingly impressed the human society affairs as the traditional organizations couldn’t synchronize with these revolutions . The only organizations surviving from this condition, are the ones which can steadily accommodate themselves with this transforming atmosphere.
Nowadays, several civil firms are facing with financial problems, delays in delivering projects on time and other difficulties which result in delayed return on capital and poor performance. In this condition if the organization wouldn’t be capable of reaping the benefits of unstable environment, will be failed. One way to take advantage of uncertain environment and timely response is organizational learning. The implementation of organizational learning enhance innovation and hence organizational success. Therefore, the present study aimed to evaluate the impact of organizational learning on innovation and success in construction firms and providing an appropriate model.
The approach of this research is a combination of qualitative, quantitative and case studies of successful civil firms in Isfahan. Number of questionnaires on organizational learning and innovation were examined by managers and experts of construction industry, then obtained comments and suggestions are used as a solution and final offer. To investigate the hypothesis inferential statistics (including regression and path analysis) was used. To analyze the data, SPSS software was used. In the following, Delphi technique was used.
Finally, a model is presented by using PDCA technique (Plan, Do, Check, Act) that can be as an applied model for civil firms to improve their performance.
