Abstract:
Integrated production planning is a tactical decision that determine optimal production schedule for each period of the planning horizon. The main aim of integrated production planning is that satisfy demand fluctuations. On the other hand, maintenance planning determine the suitable time of preventive maintenance in the planning horizon for failure prevention in the system and minimize total cost. Since considering production planning and maintenance at the same time are important, many various integrated models are proposed.
At most studies, the researchers want to answer this question: when the maintenance should be happen that the production receive minimal impact. To answer this question, production planning models should be considered as production requirement. In other words, production planning and maintenance should be integrated.
The aim of this study is to investigate production planning and condition-base maintenance issues.Production planning and maintenance are two important areas in operations management. gaps in the literature review with an integrated model is broader and closer to the real world. In this study, three models have been proposed. The first discrete model is production planning and the second is condition base maintenance model. The third model is an integrated production planning and condition base maintenance model. Initially obtained failure rate with database and exakt software, then for solve the model and the validation of the results, matlab and gams softwares are used.
