Abstract:
In the introduction of this dissertation, other researchers’ investigations and studies for determining the insurance rate of agricultural crops have been reviewed briefly. Being necessary for understanding of the concepts, some of the disciplines and theories including entropy and its principles, features of entropy measures, and some definitions are dealt with. Then, Maximum Renyi entropy and tsallis entropy are explained in two separate chapters. Using the accumulated data, the crops insurance rate is calculated through both methods. The main objective of this project is to find the best agricultural crops insurance rate. This type of insurance is an intellectual process of thinking of suburb societies which requires a specific ethology and epistemology in order to be placed in the household market basket of the farmers.
