Abstract:
In this thesis, we have studied plasma's temperature that caused by nanosecond pulsed laser radiation.
The approach was to radiate laser to a silver target and then centralize the emerged radiation from the plasma on spectrometer. The laser (10Hz pulse repetition) was radiated with various intensities, and then the spectrum produced by plasma radiation was studied. Also, the temperature of the plasma and its variations that caused by increasing the laser intensity was measured. Here, we used Nd:YAG laser with the wavelength of 1064nm and pulse interval of 10ns.
The results showed that plasma’s temperature was about 2eV and increased with the intensity of laser radiation.
