Abstract:
This research was conducted in the continuing investigations to select optimized Slab Track for Iran Conditions that was tried to regulate Criteria and Design Algorithm for Selected Ballastless Superstructure.
According to this approach, in the first step, based on valid references, all related criteria has defined and localized for Iran selected Slab Tracks. In the next step, algorithm of design process has presented and the Iran selected slab track designed while the most important effective Items (Axle Load, Ks, Superstructure Thickness, …) have considered.
The results show that the AASHTO criteria has higher reliability that the other related references.
The other results imply thickness of existing Slab Tracks is over and obtained thickness in different situation of Ks, satisfies the criteria range. The results find it necessary for loads more than 14 T, the structure needs to reprocess and control.
