There are vast zones in nature consists of cemented granular soils. One of the characteristics of this type of soils is sustainability in nature steep slopes. Steep slopes are observed in various parts of Tehran. Long-term stability of the slopes is mainly due to the attachment components because of cementation. In recent years, large projects were built on the cemented alluvium of Tehran that shows the importance and necessity of this research. In order to evaluate the effect of cementation in stability of north Tehran alluvium, case study named Morvarid Gharb project is has been chosen. According to the results and classification of the soil, the amount of cohesion for this type of soil is much more than the normal range. Due to the cemented soil definition and considerable amount of cohesion, the only reason of high cohesion achieved from in-situ tests, is cementation of soil in the mentioned project. In Morvarid Gharb project due to the soil cementation, vertical slope and a depth of about 25 meters without any stabilization operations, are stable for a long time.
