The identity crisis, which is in fact related to the confrontation between their identity and their identities or between their human identities and their ideals, or between human identity and the identity of the society of which it is patterned, is a topic which, throughout history, human beings and communities More or less have been faced with it. Getting a desirable identity and escape from the identity crisis has been and continues to be a concern for the history of humanity and human cultures. Identity can be defined in the sense that humans acquire through mental emotions of their daily existence and widespread social communication. This existence and communications require space for formation. Places are the main centers of the immediate experience of the world. Although today the pressure of new technologies, globalization and space-time constraints has diminished the influence of places in shaping the individual and social identities of societies, nevertheless, places play a significant role in the construction of the physical and symbolic aspects of human identities They are responsible. In the literature of residence, the ultimate goal of the residence is expressed by the person's authentication and emphasized the importance of the role of housing in the authentication of residents. Obviously, the identity crisis of the society is in a relationship with architecture, and in particular contemporary housing, which society, and especially architects with a problem Anonymity has given rise to contemporary housing that solves this problem as the main goal of this research.
In this regard, the present study first explores the meanings and identities of the library studies method, then describes the components of architectural identity. Then, in a qualitative way and using phenomenology, through field studies in the village of Riab, data was collected through individual observations, photography, filming and map drawing. The extracted data, which relates to contemporary black and white housing, have been evaluated in a descriptive-analytical manner, and in the end, the reasons for the illusions of contemporary housing have been described.
The results of this research show that culture, natural environment, artificial environment, functions and activities visible in the environment, visual and physical characteristics of the environment, and perceptual meanings and perceptions in the environment are the most important components of architectural identity. The lack of attention to some of the theoretical foundations and design solutions used in the design of Baha'i housing and the lack of commitment of the designer to the use of these solutions have caused ill-fated housing.
