Environmental, economic and strategic reasons are behind the rapid impulse in the deployment of renewable energy sources that is taking place around the world. In addition to overcoming economic and commercial barriers, meeting the ambitious objectives set by most countries in this field will require the development of novel technologies capable of maximising the energy potential of different renewable sources at an acceptable cost. The use of solar radiation and wind energy and wave energy for power generation is growing rapidly, particularly in areas of the globe where these resources are plentiful. Hybrid systems may provide the solution to limitations, maximising the energy potential of these resources, increasing process efficiency, providing greater security of supply and reducing overall costs.
The thesis consists of technical and economic analysis of a hybrid energy system consisting of solar, wind and wave resources and the possibility of using such a system with the help of a computer program called PhotoWindWave developed with the help of MATLAB software, in one It evaluates the parts of Iran that have the right resources for these energies.
The required meteorological data such as hourly air temperature and daily average solar radiation for the area were extracted using Meteororm7 software and hourly wind speed with Elements software. By comparing average with the data recorded on NASA site the correction factors were considered.
The system consists of ten solar panels and a Land-Based wind turbine and a wave energy converter, which is capable of becoming solar, wind and wave fields, and in addition to producing clean energy, on the tourist attractions of Kish Island will added.
At the end, the annual energy generated by this system was estimated to be 11 GWh per year and its energy cost was estimated at 0.23 $ per kilowatt-hour.
