Heavy vehicles prone to rollover due to their heavy weight and the high height of center of mas and the difficulty of controlling their movement. The rollover causes more damages to heavy vehicles rather than small vehicles. Among heavy vehicles, truck mixers, containing concrete, are so dangerous to rollover, as a result of the high height of the tank and the heavy weight of fluid, which they carry, and also because of the spinning of the tank. In this thesis the rollover of truck mixers, the effect of tank’s geometry and its spinning, and also the carrying fluid have been analyzed based on software simulation using CFD methods. First, the geometry of tank has been designed. Then the results of simulation has been used as input data for dynamic tests. At the end, the allowed speeds for radius 10, 20, ... , 100 meters in the steady state turning test and steering angles 180, 250, 360, 750 and 970 degrees at the step steering test has been calculated.
