Abstract:
In this reaserch NiAlLDH was electrodeposited on glassy carbon electrode (GCE/NiALLDH) by chronoamperometry methode. The LDH film was characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS), cyclic voltammetry (CV), differential palse voltammetry (DPV) and scanning electrochemical microscopy (EIS). This modified electrode was used as voltammetric sensor for the determination of chlorpromazine (CPZ) in 0.1 M NaOH solution. From the recorded voltammograms it was concluded that CPZ can be determined in the concentration range of 1×10-3 - 1×10-9 M. The limit of detection in this work was 1 × 10-9 M. The NiAlLDH film showed well defined and well separated peaks for dopamine, ascorbic acid, uric acid and CPZ in the same solution. Therefore, this sensor can be used for the determination of all these compounds individually or simultaneously.
