As societies and communications improved, communicational modulations has been more sophisticated and the peak to average ratio of them has been increased through generation’s progression. This leads to efficiency reduction in older power amplifiers because they are designed for maximum efficiency at maximum output power. Several solutions has been reported to increase efficiency of power amplifiers, one of them is Doherty power amplifier. Several structures of Doherty is reported to improve its operation from many aspects, one of them is designing class AB and class C by unequal output power that is named Asymmetric Doherty. This inequality leads to PA’s high power region increase that prevents highly efficiency reduction. By this, amplifier can operates at future generations of communications with high PAPR. In this design, amplifier has implemented in two way, main and auxiliary, and in two stages structure for both of them. High linearity consideration in bias and dimension selection had been done. As it’s important to combine output power of these two ways in same phase, a novel wideband matching network proposed to compensate phase difference of two ways. By these structure, this amplifier has output more than 34dBm, efficiency more than 32 and fractional bandwidth more than 20%.
