Abstract :
Cities as a place of life and human activity, are an important part of the environment that can affect the environment of the earth-biosphere. Therefore, we will not have sustainable world, if you do not have sustainable cities.
In this regard, new approaches discuss creating a balance in the use of resources and efficient use of clean energy and renewable energy, try to improve the quality of urban environment and give priority to the issue of reducing energy consumption.
Developments in contemporary urban contexts, especially in developing countries, including those in Iran, and create textures and new neighborhoods in the cities, the urban areas are of particular importance.
Development of new neighborhoods in the cities of Iran has dominated the car to the framework of neighborhoods, high-rise building in the downtowns, low density in the suburbs, disruption of Urban textures, the transition from collectivism to individualism and isolation of people and in the result of such things, increased consumption of energy and fuels and human resources.
One of the problems in this area, is the lack of proper planning for new communities and using classic comprehensive plans and detailed plans for Neighborhood development in Iran.
For this reason, in this study, after comparing energy-efficient design tools such as
HQE,BREAM,LEED-ND, CASBEE etc; and analyze the advantages and disadvantages of each of these programs we isolate the main indicators of these Tools.
Then, based on these indicators and comparing the coverage by any of these tools, we select the most complete design program for neighborhood development.
Finally, using the tool and selected criteria, to design an energy-efficient neighborhood in the city of Baharestan in Isfahan.
