Nowday due to the energy crisis, high energy costs for users, environmental damages and generally sustainable development, special look to stable solutions to optimize energy consumption in done. Given the complexities and multiplicity of moods and different parameters of sustainable design in the field of building energy, the industry is going through a traditional analysis methods to the modeling and simulation using advanced virtual modeling software building.According to previous studies, the outer shell of the building as one of the most important parameters effective to building energy consumption has been determined. Nowadays use of double skin façade is one of active and sustainable solution to reduce energy consumption along with other positive features.thus, in the recent decade several studies have been conducted in the field of design of double skin facade, but due to the existing limitations, the interaction between effective parameters and the determination of the optimal design have been significant shortcomings in researches. The selected approach for this research is collecting of effective parameters and using the energy simulation by using parametric and algorithmic software called Grasshopper. For this purpose , considering the effective parameters on the performance and sensitivity analysis and interaction between double skin facade, the importance of each parameter and optimization design of double skin facade in the hot area (Yazd) and cold area(Tabriz) of Iran is set and compare with the design of the single skin facade. At first, the parameters affecting the performance of two shells were collected. Then, the model was simulated in Gears Hopper software and fixed and variable parameters were applied according to required equations and conditional algorithms and the algorithm applied the target function "reduction and optimization of energy consumption" in software and finally in two hot climates and The cold water of Iran separately analyzed the software. In each of the two climates, the sensitivity analysis and the impact of each parameter, as well as in each climate, 288 were completely evaluated and interpreted. Finally, in the warm climate (Yazd ) With the flexibility of the existence plan and the lack of lavender, the optimal layout of the two shell layout was determined, which compared to the single shell in Egypt, the total energy Allen, cooling and heating have decreased by 21%, 15% and 52%, respectively. In cold climate, the optimum design of double skin facade was determined that comared to the single skin façade in total annual energy consumption, have decreased by 23.7%, 22.7% and 24%, respectively,that compared to the shellfish in terms of total annual energy consumption, kilns and heat, which reflects the positive result of using the double skin facade in the Iran climate.
