With daily increase in electricity consumption, there are two ways to supply the demand, which are Installation of new generation or demand management. With the high cost of new generation, demand management is a proper choice for whom making decisions in electricity industry. Demand response is a part of demand management and domestic demand response is an important part of it.
One way of utilizing demand response is by changing the price of electricity in different times of a day. Fair pricing is one of the major challenges. In this report we describe a new way of pricing which is adaptive to the consumption level of customers which is fair and respects the privacy of customers.
After implementing this method, we try to run DR program and reschedule daily load using this pricing scheme in the base of smart grids. We can see that rescheduling will decrease the bill of customers and shifts load from peak hours to normal hours.
After rescheduling, cost of all customers will drop. This reduction is maximum 69% and minimum 17% for different customers. Furthermore, total peak consumption of all customers reduces from 1095.9 kWh to 1043.4 kWh and it is a good change for stability of grid.
