The purpose of this research is primarily to document and carry out historical research and draw up detailed plans of one of the most valuable Bazaar in Iran (the Kashan Bazaar), and in particular the passage of the Panakhl, which has extremely lack of information. it also presents a proper pattern to revival of it, which has been separated from its origin due to the cross- streets of the Pahlavi era which is the reason why the material and spiritual life has become obscured and diminished.
For this purpose, a combination of descriptive, analytical and survey methods has been used. Studies have been conducted in a deductive manner based on the investigation of documents and field studies of valuable buildings of Kashan and the Bazaar of Kashan, and also the research documents and books related to the Panakhl passage.
After conducting studies and pathologic process, the main reasons for the ignorance of physical and spiritual life of the Panakhl passage include: lack of people knowledge from the valuable and authentic history, neglect of the urban authorities, indifference of the merchant towards this part of the Kashan bazaar, performing any kind of disruptive and nasty interventions in the passage, and deterioration of the bazaar body over time.
Implementation of proper revitalization designs and patterns and restoration of freshness by architectural methods is one of the main measures and suggestions of this research to revive this valuable historical monument.
