Abstract:
The purpose of this study is to evaluate and select the supplier based on the green supply chain using a AHP method in pharmaceutical companies. The target population is the suppliers of pharmaceutical companies in Tehran. The statistical population of the study is pharmaceutical industry senior executive managers who have a minimum of 10 years of management experience and a postgraduate degree. The data collection tool was a paired questionnaire whose content validity was verified and reviewed by 20 senior executive managers. Data analysis was performed using AHP hierarchical analysis and SUPER DECISION software. The results show that green purchasing evaluation criterion is more important than other criteria. Subsequently, other criteria in the order of importance are: clean production, timely delivery, pollution, environmental management, environmental design, and transport security. Also, the results of the data analysis indicate that DAROUPAKHSH Company is ranked first. This rating has been evaluated based on eight different criteria. Ranbaxy is also ranked second. Cipla Co., Toufigh Darou. and Milylan Co. are ranked third to fifth respectively.
