Abstract:
Part of the planning problem in power systems is the planning of production development and the location of new production units that should be added to the system to meet the predicted load demand at the lowest cost, the system reliability criteria are also met where the purpose of determining the type, Capacity, time of arrival of production units.
In order to achieve this goal, in this study, the mathematical model based on 16 regional power grids of Iran's power grid has been considered, which has considered that energy storage methods as one of the methods of demand side management along with Other Fossil Fuels and Renewable Technologies.
The objective function of the mathematical model is to minimize the total investment costs by taking into account the rate of learning of energy generation technologies, the operation, maintenance and energy not supply costs (the cost of outgoing units) as well as the cost of developing transmission lines between regional electricity Power grid.
In this study, the reliability of the system is estimated using the Bayesian model and is considered as one of the main constraints of the model.
