Abstract:
Protecting and restoration of monuments in a country like Iran, which in its place represents the monuments of various periods, is necessary and definitive. In fact, the existence of each of these buildings is a tangible indication of the historical documents of that region and country, which are narrated by different dimensions of social, cultural, historical, economic and .... The manner and manner of dealing with each of the buildings in terms of climate, cultural conditions, types of injuries, day-to-day technologies and environmental and other factors will be different. For this reason, an accurate examination and documentation, and the presentation of pathological models of the condition of these buildings should be considered in dealing with these buildings. In the present research, a historical monument of the first Pahlavi period in Rasht has been considered as the building of the old governorate of Rasht. In the course of this research, the documentary and preliminary studies have been done in full by field studies and the collection of library resources. By performing the pathology process and analyzing the data obtained, we try to use the charter, guidelines and international statements in the field of restoration of monuments. Has got a proper restoration plan. The final result of the research shows that one of the best ways to revive the monuments is to pay attention to the identity of the building and try to contemplate this identity with the current state of the society and to pay attention to the surrounding environment of a building and activities around the building.
