One of the features of the new world is the increasing level of competition. Organizations around the world have found that gradual changes are not the solution for the current organizational problems, and sometimes for the survival of the organizations, fundemental changes are needed to be done. Nowadays, these revolutionary changes are known by the name of re-engineering. By analysing literature reviwes ralated to reengineering this question comes to mind that despite gaining lots of benefits by usinig reengineerings, why so many organizations have failed in implementing them? Therefore, preparation, paying attention to the implementation and identification of factors that facilitate the implementation of reengineering is important. To achieve the expected results it is required that some conditions and factors that support design and implementation of reengineering should exist. In this study, by using a comparative analysis and a review of studies conducted on the factors of success and failure of reengineering projects, and using asssesment models before implemention of reengineering, a set of failure and success factors are introduced . Then, according to previous studies, the best and the most comprehensive models and factors is selected and Fuzzy method is used to check the status of organizational readiness and ultimately prioritizing the process is done. In this way, organizations can better understand their current situation and do best practices in order to have a precise and successful implementation of BPR projects. Finally, this method as used on a case study.
