Abstract:
This research is aimed to present a model based upon the macroeconomic
approach for the performance assessment and ranking of countries based on
their development toward renewable energy technologies (solar and wind).
Using multi-criteria decision-making techniques, while taking into account the
E2 S model, which includes Economic, Energy, Environmental and Social
indicators among countries with more recent coherent and comprehensive
statistical contribution to global resources.
An attempt to position as an unbiased and fair evaluator via minimizing human
interventions, ,using precise numerical data for multifaceted enrichment and
evaluation comprehensiveness. Finally, given a combination of techniques like
ELECTRE,TOPSIS,WASPAS, and Numerical Taxonomy, a model has been
suggested that first identify the homogeneous and heterogeneous alternatives in
the statistical society, then calculate the accurate position of each
alternatives,Results revealed that China and U.S. are heterogenous alternatives
and WASPAS outputs showed a rather distinctive ranking.
