Public transportation is one of the essential needs of modern urban societies. In the meantime, the role of public transportation systems in increasing the welfare of citizens and the development of urban society plays an essential and indisputable role. At present, the share of public transportation from all intra-city trips is not a good contribution, and all countries in the world are suffering heavy losses due to traffic congestion in the big cities. In this research, Metro Tehran has been selected as a case study. To measure the satisfaction of Metro (users) travelers and their willingness to pay for improving the characteristics of travelers (users) in two stages, the questionnaires were distributed to the calculated number. The purpose of the design and distribution of the questionnaire is to satisfy the satisfaction of the users (users) of their satisfaction with the metro, as well as to identify features that are of great importance to the passengers, while not satisfying those characteristics. These features are: waiting time, crowded wagon, escalator status and elevator at the station, and the general condition of the subway for the use of the disabled and the elderly. Using the questionnaire information, the willingness of travelers to pay more to improve each of these features is examined using the multiple logistic model. In the end, the satisfaction of the passengers from Tehran metro was 4.95 (out of 7). Meanwhile, according to the results of the logit model, the willingness to pay all the characteristics was estimated, and travelers tended to have the highest payment to improve the metro situation for the elderly and the disabled. Also, the value of each minute of waiting in 1396 is about 25 USD.
