Globalization in recent decades has been affecting cities in different dimensions and turning big cities into global cities with specific functions. Globalization, like urbanization, gives rise to opportunities and problems that are clearly evident in cities and urban open places. The challenge in this process is to find a solution to the problems associated with globalization while exploiting its positive aspects. At the same time, open places can play a key role in helping the process of poverty eradication and reducing inequality through socialization, social solidarity and cultural richness and increasing the competitiveness of cities. This research seeks to design local open places in the process of urban globalization. In order to address the research issue, a multi-stage process has been conducted and qualita-tive content analysis methods have been used, deductive reasoning and scrutinizing the attitude of stakeholders and scholars. Theoretical Foundations the subject of the concept and dimensions of globalization and the effects of globalization on urban and urban open places has been examined through selected documents. Then, theoretical foundations were analyzed by analyzing qualitative content in order to extract the principles of designing local open places in the process of urban globalization. Also, the extracted principles are evaluated qualitatively by selected experts, and then the study area is measured based on selected environmental indicators. The study of cognitive studies in the study area of the present study shows that this range, although lacking strong evidence of the impact of globalization on it, cannot be considered entirely separate from the current globalization. Due to its proximity to attractive and attractive cities for domestic and foreign tourists, the design scope allows for the provision of the necessary space for the establishment of economic activities on a global scale or the presence of global events, a unique physical and historical feature for promoting and representing the city. And also due to the registration of the city of Rasht, as a creative city in UNESCO, is partly about the potential of promoting the global image of the area and strengthening the flow of local and transnational tourism. After reviewing the theoretical foundations related to the subject of research and measuring the status area, ultimately, a plan for local open locations in the process of globalization was reached with the case study of the central area of Rasht. It seems that the pattern presented to this goal, which has a native site of universal value, can re-spond.
