Abstract:
Freight trains are always in doubt as to the transfer of dengerous goods. Consequently, designers have been designing wagons since 1863 in the United States, which, while being able to carry more loads, have a higher levels of strength and consistency.
In this project, the simulation of the freight train collision with vehicles, pride and truck has been investigated. The collision is happend in a straight line with the target vehicles at various angles. Train bogies and locomotive model are simulated Y25 and GT26 respectively. This simulation has been performed using SimWise software. A survey has been conducted on the amount of contact impulse between the wheel and the rail, and the train with the vehicle. By reducing the angle of the collision from 90 to 45 degrees, it was found that the contact impulse between the wheel and the rail, and the train with vehicle decreases the train direction and increases the train's perpendicular direction.
In this software, the train and the vehicle are rigidly designed to examine the collision, rail and wheel contact impulse and the possibility of derailment.
