Abstract:
Heterocyclic imidazole derivatives have been found in many natural products and pharmacological active compounds. The growth of new artificial of imidazole groups have been a notable argument in progressived organic chemistry. Among the large accomplishments, the one-pot synthesis of 2,4,5- triarylated imidazoles via three-component and 1,2,4,5 tetrasubstituted imidazoles that mainly acquired by a multi-component reaction involving benzil or an alternative benzil, have been more known. In the last decade, increasing interest has been devoted to optimize the reaction conditions in order to reach very high yields and highly pure products. In recent decade, magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs) have appeared as an excellent type of catalyst. In recent years, great attention has been given to the use of marine seaweed biomass. In this work Fucoidan sulphated polysaccharide has used as a green catalyst to prepare imidazole derivetives in reflux condition and ethanol as solvent. Pure products, high yield and use of green catalyst are the advantages of this method.
