Due to technological innovations, changing environment of markets, varying needs of customers, and cultural shifts, health systems have been facing various challenges and increasing health needs throughout the world. Accordingly, taking the organizational engagement into consideration is one of the most important strategies that can enable hospitals and organizations rise to these challenges successfully.
The present descriptive study has been conducted based on surveys in order to identify the factors influencing one of Tehran hospitals organizational engagement. The Statistical population includes all the 500 staff of the aforementioned hospital in 1397. The sample has been estimated at 217 staff through simple random method and Cochran's formula. Following the next step, questionnaires were distributed among the staff to collect data. Then to analyze the questionnaires, descriptive and inferential statistics were used; as a result,
16 organizational factors, 8 job factors, and 3 individual factors were identified that influence organizational engagement. Finally, the results approved the organizational factors with the standard coefficient of 0/71 and significant coefficient of 9.56, job factors with standard coefficient of 0/76 and significant coefficient of 11.74, and individual factors standard coefficient of 0.56 and significant coefficient of 6.82.
