The redesign of Imam Hossein Square and the pavement of the 17th Shahrivar with the approach of analyzing the process of producing the ritual space as a necessity in reorganizing an urban space, which is shaped and managed by the spending high costs. To approach this goal, the researcher puts himself at the first step of design, to create the space and reorganizing it. This turn to the first step of design is taking into account the formal requirements of power, also, to accept the current changes in space and try to improve the situation. Investigating the production processes of a space based on Lefebvre's views and examining the processes of producing a ritualistic space with a historical analysis will include the process and compilation of the theoretical framework of the research. To put all in a nutshell, the Henri Lefebvre’s model is combined with the descriptive models of Amos Rapoport and Bill Hiller. The produced model is matching with the model derived from the historical analysis. The development of this model with the universal model of urban design, Matthew Carmona, forms the first step in the process of redesign, in which the framework and the structure of this research are formed. The observations are written based on the six-dimensional of perception, space, disposition, perspective, time, community, an overall review, and several strategies. These results are defined in the framework of the research model as a goal, strategy, and policy, and at the end, documents will be presented on the same basis.
