Abstract:
Value chain, as an important tool for investigating and cognitive strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats to the environment. With this chain, companies can played take steps to gain competitive advantage better than competitors. The main objective of this study is to define and design a performance evaluation model of sustainable competitive advantage in the value chain. The methodology of this research in terms of purpose is Functional, and the nature of the research is descriptive – survey. The population of executives and experts of National Iranian Gas Company. The volume of people in this study of 245 people. Simple random sampling method and Cochran formula was used by the researchers to determine sample size. This formula is based on a sample size of 150 people was determined. In this study, using three levels of theoretical bases of process, operational and strategic performance evaluation in order to gain competitive advantage have been identified. In each of the levels was identified criteria, the criteria include policy and achieve organizational goals and mission at the strategic level, in the process of customer satisfaction, productivity and flexibility Finally, at the operational level as well as the criteria for participation, respect, and accountability is intellectual capital. To gather data, researchers used a questionnaire previously distributed its validity and reliability was approved. Spss software for the analysis also identified for review and approval criteria and Smart PLS software for the confirmatory factor analysis was used in this study. Results of the survey show that in the process of evaluating the performance of the value chain in order to gain competitive advantage by identifying criteria, the criteria are correct and each case would be examined in the value chain value chain assessment provides a basis for better accuracy.
