Today, knowledge and the effective management of it have been known as a value and a key competitive asset that is the base for growth and sustainable competitive advantage and better performance of an organization. Therefore this research studies the roles and effect of infrastructures and capabilities of knowledge management on performance of Siemens Company. Infrastructures of knowledge management consist of culture, technology, organizational structure, strategy, knowledge management processes including gaining knowledge, transferring knowledge, using knowledge, keeping knowledge.
For this purpose standard questionnaires were used among the personnel in Siemens Iran Company randomly. The result of this research showed that only IT infrastructure was not effecting on knowledge management in Siemens but culture and organizational structure also were effective and as a result of the research also suggestions were made for better performance of Siemens Company.
