In recent years, an environmentally friendly approach to chemistry and industrial processes has created many challenges in the industry and academic research. Considering these challenges, in order to remove the obstacles they caused, green chemistry-based technologies, and especially the use of natural catalysts, have been emerged as a leading approach which attracted considerable interest of chemists. In this regard, in our project we investigated natural biocatalysts such as Isinglass, Irish Moss and Peanut Shell as a source of polysaccharides. Then, we present the preparation of palladium supported on these nanobiocatalyst and survey the application of these composite in some organic chemistry reactions such as multicomponent, Suzuki and Suzuki-like cross-coupling reactions. Also, these biocatalyst have been used as a support for immobilization of copper nanoparticle to eliminate disadvantages of homogeneous catalytic system. Finally, the performance of these heterogeneous catalysts has been evaluated in the Click reaction for the synthesis of 1,2,3-Triazole derivatives.
The ease of synthesis of the catalysts provided in this project, avoiding addition of any ligand or reducing agent, and the further preparation of organic compounds in green solvents and environmentally friendly processes, are some advantages of working ahead.
