Abstract:
Today, in the global business, supply chain is important for any organization to reduce costs and increase profitability and customer satisfaction. Purchasing of raw materials involves a large part of the cost of the company, so choosing the right supplier to reduce the cost of purchase is essential and important.
In this research, five different suppliers of preforms in the Kalleh dairy products company considered to select the best supplier. For this, at first, nine criteria, including quality, on time delivery, performance history, supply risk, demand risk, manufacturing risk, logistics risk, information risk and environmental risk, initially considered for the supplier selection. The weight of the criteria obtained using the Shannon entropy method and the paired comparison matrix based on the Hierarchical Process Analysis (AHP) method. In this research, it found that the demand risk criterion has the highest weight and the manufacturing risk and the environmental risk criteria have the lowest weight for the supplier selection. Finally, after gaining the weight of the criteria, suppliers prioritized using the fuzzy TOPSIS approach.
