Today, the transportation of disable people has become one of the most challenging issues in developing societies. One of the most fundamental problems in these countries is the lack of environment and public transportation. Railways, as one of the most economical and affordable public transport vehicles is a good platform for solving existing problems and providing suitable conditions for disable people. On the other side, because of the long average of travels with train in Iran, for wheelchair,s users has been associated with many dilemmas. One of the most important of these problems is long-term sitting in stagnant and nonergonomic conditions, which greatly reduces the comfort of people during the trip and also increases the likelihood of complications, including pressure ulcers. One of the main goals of this research is to study the problems of wheelchair users during a train journey and provide solutions to increase their comfort and independence during the trip. The research method used in this study is descriptive-analytic by simulation. Data gathering methods include library studies, field research, questioning, and the use of the Kano method. For testing and analyzing the hypotheses, used Finite Element Model. The results suggest that the principle design of the coupe train, taking into account the needs of wheelchairs users and the application of the solutions provided, will increase significantly individual autonomy and increase the comfort during the trip by train.
