In this study, a nanolayer of Sol-Gel polymer was used to prepare Molecularly Imprinted Polymer (MIP) for spectrophotometric measurement of organic compounds (e.g.nalidixic acid).
In the first step, (method A), followed by previous research in the preparation of Sol-Gel nanofilm, tetraethoxy silane (TEOS) and silane A was applied as a host polymer, and then in the second step (method B), acrylamide, a functional monomer, with Sol-Gel was used in order to prepare nanolayer.
The Prepared solutions, made in both ways, after dropped onto the surface of prepared glass slide was selected as a suitabale and transparent support for stabilization of MIP on it and since using a spin coating system, an uniform layer was obtained.
After ensuning the sensor response, parameters such as type of eluting solvent, eluting solvent composition, elution time. pH of extraction solution and extraction solution stirring speed were optimized. After optimizing the parameters, calibration curve were plotted for each step in optimum conditions and figures of meritinclude linear range, sensitivity, detection limit and reproducibility were evaluated.
At the end of the work, the sensor provided by both A and B methods was used for identification and determination of nalidixic acid in human blood serum and also pills samples, showed a good recovery result.
According to the method proposed in this study, similarsensors can be made for other anti-biotics.
