Abstract:
With the increasing urban population and the lack of physical activity of people due to the use of urban transportation, the necessity of maintaining a clean and pure environment and use of environment friendly gadgets, such as bicycle has become a significant issue. There for, the following thesis tries to improve the culture of using bicycles. To do so, two different topics of " improvement of the bicycle's body design" and " design a gamificative model which encourages the use the gadget, has been covered. In this way, kansei engineering method was used to improve the design of the bicycle's body, the interface of the bicycle's display and design of display and its elements were enhanced to lead to a better use of the user and finally, the gamification was built around the subject of bicycle riding with the use of a user display. In this way, a motivational system aims for the inner and outer motivations of a person, so the person is encouraged to ride bicycle more and therefore the hours of bicycling is increased. The gamification system helps the person to see bicycling and maintain of the earth as a culture which the levels of the transformation of this value to a culture is done by the gamification system. The improvement of the electric bicycle's body design accelerates this transformation significantly, because electric bicycles are already helping their users to ride bicycle more and better.
