Abstract:
In order to keep concrete under the influence of its own weight and also to maintain its homogeneity, it requires to more energy (time & speed)for mixing more than conventional concrete, so time and speed of mixing in produsing thise type of concrete is a very important factor. Prior to the production of concretein bulk, in the correct way and in error should be determined for each mixture.
Accordingly, in order to find the appropriate mixing time and speed, and its effect on the mechanical properties of hardened concrete, based on the regulations and recommendations, two composite designs of self-compacting concrete, the first type of self-compacting concrete containing powder and the second type containing material. The viscosity modifier was mixed at 3,8 and 11 minutes at three speeds of 20 and 40 rpm.
