The Einstein-Cartan theory is a classical relativity theory similar to general relativity theory, except that it does not assume that it disappears in connection. Almost as the bend is related to the energy-momentum of the material, the torsion is also related to the spin angular momentum. The theory tries to replace general relativity. In this theory, as opposed to the general theory of Einstein, the torsion is coupled with spin, in which case changes in the energy-momentum tensor are obtained.
