The present study is based on a perspective view of the potential of the impact of emerging technologies such as the Internet of Things on developing countries, and, by understanding the current challenges of the Internet of Things in Iran, presents a pattern of internet policy on objects in the country. The essence of the present research is exploratory descriptive. In the process of data analysis, the present study utilizes methods of library studies and semi-structured interviews. The statistical population of this research was Internet domain experts who have been selected by snowball sampling and have continued to achieve theoretical saturation. The method of thematic analysis is the data mining method of this research which has been interviewed in the form. 548 basic themes, 56 organizing themes, and 13 comprehensive themes. At the end, themes were laid out in the form of internet policy on objects in Iran. One of the most important of these policies is to: Formulate and strengthen the institutions of Internet policy; Licensed objects for the sustainable development of the Internet of Things; Provide for the production of integrated applications by creative groups based on government supervision and support; Internet localization Things, considering the Islamic culture of Iran to accept it, and to establish the rules and standards of the internal Internet of objects, taking into account global standards and active monitoring. In the second phase of this research, after identifying the policies and verifying them by the experts, we analyzed and prioritized the proposed policies with the importance – performance model; and finally, appropriate strategies to develop sustainable IoT and to achieve an imaginable perspective in Iran were recommended.
