Designing Structure is based on FBD within recent years. Based on this method, structure is designed in such a way that resistance have to be bigger than used force, and if it is lesser, the process is repeated.
Within recent years, investigation has shown that the resistance talked about most of the times in earthquake, is less important, whereas it is the changing place that specifies the effect of earthquake.
Thus, designing Seismic structures has changed to design based on displacement design
In designed based on performance base. performance base will be used as the most important parameter in designing structure.
Also, there are a few algorithms that are developed for designing structures. The method that is used in this Project is based on direct displacement base design. This method is not only a policy for calculating final member, but also a simple algorithm for Member Design.
In recent years, many researchers have developed this method for use in designing various structures. Just to say that this method emerged for concrete structures at first, but later was developed for steel structure as well.
