Abstract:
Nowadays usage of IT has turned into one the main processes in different departments of organizations. This variety and universality of application caused that lots of organization fees be spent for implementing IT projects. Projects of this kind have high importance and essentiality in National Iranian Gas Company.
This research’s subject is presenting a model for evaluation of risk of solutions for continuous improvement in ICT management unit of NIGC.
Research Data are gathered and analyzed through library Studies, interview, Delphi and question form. First recognition of possible risks and then showing the relations between risk events based on ISM are explained. Determination of risk weight and risk factors are analyzed by ANP and then FMEA is used for classifying the risks.
In this research; model is evaluated based on proper statistical methods.
Analyses include review of KMO indicator, Bartlett Test, reliability and validity of convergent and divergent of indicators and analysis of model route.
The most important risks of implement continuous improvement in order of importance in ICT of NIGC are:
Poor definition of goals and requirements, Poor management of project time, Not having IT as a proper position in organization, Specialty of project processes and the need for more effective cooperation of staff and managers, Obsolete project’s product and resolving the need during the run, Lack of project supervisors’ technical knowledge, Inappropriate selection of project operator, Decisions of other organizations, IT planning and management, Ambiguity in organizational strategy and strategic alignment, Failure to update the organization’s IT plan, Lack of proper local-regional bench marking, No connection between projects and plans with organization’s strategy.
