Abstract:
The health system is important for the community, because people are sick and Accidents happen, hospitals are needed to diagnose, treat and manage illnesses and patients. The healthcare System is divided into several sections to handle Health and care needs of population. All over the world, the healthcare System is still growing, and as long as human beings continue to grow, it forms a large part of the economy of each country.
Health care research results can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of health care, health care is typically considered an important factor in upgrading overall physical and mental health and the well-being of people around the world. Also, the quality and quantity of many health care are improved through science outcomes. In this regard, this important part of the community has been evaluated.
Considering that the data envelopment analysis model is one of the effective methods in estimating relative efficiency that allows managers to analyze a large number of units that simultaneously have multiple inputs and outputs with different scales in terms of efficiency. and further, the data envelopment analysis shows the network data of the organization's processes better, and, consequently, the written model is more logical and close to reality, after which the model is used to evaluate the sectors.
According to inputs and outputs of the hospital and the research regarding the history of this issue and considering the expert opinion (in the end, 14 indicators including 8 inputs, 5 outputs and one intermediate were selected. Inputs included: number of active beds, number Nurses for the reception, number of Nurse assistance for the reception, number of Nurse assistance for treatment, number of nurses for treatment, number of equipment, number of patients from the other Section, number of doctors. Outputs include: the number of deaths, the number of discharged, the number Death and mortality, number of occupied beds, number of days of admission, and the intermediate index of hospitalized patients was considered), network In the case of research (including two stages of the reception and treatment), for twenty sections in the hospital, a mathematical model was written based on a designed network.
After sorting out the data and building the virtual parts, the math model was coded in the software and the data were sorted in the direction of the research objectives into the software GAMS. After running the program and determining the results of the sections, they were ranked based on performance.Then, the time trend was evaluated for each of the twenty existing sectors and inefficient sectors were evaluated, and strategies for increasing efficiency in inefficient sectors were presented.
