Abstract
Today, the importance of renewable energy as a source of clean and reliable energy is emphasized. Considering the environmental problems and the need for new energy sources, renewable energy development is inevitable. These types of energy can provide clean and affordable energy for all countries. But the development of renewable energies depends on the development of technologies in this area. As the potential for R & D in the field of renewable energy is not provided for all countries, technology transfer can be seen as a way to achieve these kinds of technologies. But technology transfer itself depends on the factors that these factors play in optimizing and the effectiveness of the transfer process. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to identify the factors affecting the transfer of renewable energy technology and ranking the methods of technology transfer in this area using these factors. Initially, factors affecting the transfer and diffusion of renewable energy technologies from different sources have been extracted and technology transfer methods have been investigated. In order to rank different methods of technology transfer, their criteria and sub-criteria were studied and, with the consideration of experts in the field of renewable energy, the importance of each criterion was determined. To determine the most suitable method for technology transfer, the analytic hierarchy process and the expert choice software have been used. The results of the research show that in the conditions of uncertainty and lack of political and economic stability that are considered as important criteria for technology transfer, reverse engineering method is the most suitable method of technology transfer in the field of renewable energy. The findings of this research can be used to facilitate and optimize the process of transferring renewable energy technology to public and non-governmental sectors.
