The evolution of mobile technologies and the provision of many facilities and services on this platform has paved the way for this industry and its business. The growing competitiveness of these businesses is the goal of regulatories in many countries. With the introduction of mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs) in recent years, markets have become more competitive. In this research, the key factors affecting the success of Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs) in the Iran market and their effectiveness, being effected, importance and interaction, and causal relationships are identified, modeled and ranked. To this end, using the literature of research and interviewing the experts, the initial list extracts the key factors of success, and then, using a questionnaire, the importance of each of these factors was measured and by considering a cut-point, the less important factors were filtered. By then Eight key success factors have been analyzed as the final list. In the following, using the Dimetal technique, the causal relationships between these key factors are investigated. The result shows that factors such as "Regulatory", "Market Maturity and Competitive Intensity" and Attracting MNO Willingness through contracting attractive and desirable cooperation agreements" are the most effective key factors for the success of MVNOs in the Iran market and are the main causes of happening other factors. The factors such as "offering competitive prices and tariffs", "focusing on delivering services to niche market segments that are not captured by MNOs", "providing distinct and quality value added services (VASs)", "MVNO business strategy" and "Appropriate Marketing and Sales Strategies based on deep knowledge of the market" are respectively the most being effected factors.
