Unlike the engineers' expectations, after the Kobe earthquake, space truss structures were damaged, which caused researchers to investigate the behavior of such structures under earthquakes. One of the approach which the structures responses can be reduced, is the use of MR dampers, which are considered as semi-active control tools. Different controllers are used to calculate the forces or the appropriate control currents. Today, the fuzzy control system has been used in control for its inherent simplicity and stability in front of uncertainties. In order to have the appropriate force applied to the MR dampers by a fuzzy controller, in the researches, the whole structure has to be analyzed and then, by calculating the relative displacement of the dampers, the actuator current is calculated. In this thesis, we tried to divide the structure into a certain number of substructures, and each substructure was independently subjected to decentralized analysis and control. The results show that the proposed model has very good accuracy in the case of analysis and control. Two models of truss were used to examine the truss control.
