Abstract:
Various ways to generate power in the vehicle are presented. One of these methods is the use of piezoelectric materials.
What is mentioned in the articles is the use of piezoelectric power as a source of power for use in vehicle propulsion, suspension, and more.
This thesis examines the proper structures for energy harvesting in inaccessible areas such as automobile tire. In the studies, the amount of power generation and the effects of changes in piezoelectric dimensions, tire pressure variations, vehicle mass differences, and tire properties on generated power have been investigated.
first, the car tire model and piezoelectric model were implemented in Abaqus software, so a method for optimizing piezoelectric structure has been investigated. The piezoelectric model include of the measurement of the dimensions and dynamic behavior of the car tire. Finally, the complete model of the set consisting of tire and piezoelectric is integrated.
To find the optimal piezoelectric structure, the study of the dimensional parameters of the piezoelectric structure was proposed.
