The present research has discussed about codification of urban design guide for urban street façade in Jolfa street, Isfahan, through a context oriented study. After explanation about face and façade of urban streets, the integral characteristics of urban façade, as the main context of the research, has been discovered and two groups of characteristics, consist of subjective and objective has been identified. Afterward, definition and structure of urban design guide, as the main product of the research, and also one of the most important urban guidance and development documents, has been scrutinized. Then, definition and aspects of context oriented approach, as the leader and director element of the research has been discussed. After synchronic and detailed recognition and analysis of research context in 5 levels, from Isfahan city to Jolfa street, the final codification of urban design of Jolfa street façade has been performed in context oriented way.
