Cutting operations are a thermo-mechanical process. During this process, the heat becomes efficient as a result of plastic deformation and friction along the contact surface of the tool and the tool-piece. The temperature increase may reach 1000 ° C in the cutting region, which is affected by the behavior of the material and the forming mechanism. The highest temperature occurs at the contact surface of the tool. The wear and tear of the tool increases considerably at high temperatures. For this reason, temperature measurement is very important in machining. Thermocouples (contact) and infrared (non-contact) radiation are the most important and most practical methods for measuring temperature in machining. Due to the rotation of the milling tools, the use of the usual methods for measuring the temperature faces a serious challenge, and in some cases it is not practicable. Because of the limitations of instantaneous measurement of the temperature of the machining area by the thermocouple and infrared sensor, a new device is designed to measure the temperature of the contact area of the tool-piece. This machine includes several modules, most notably using the Bluetooth module to send information. This module sends the thermocouple temperature to the recording device (PC, mobile phone) that is paired. Due to the fact that the probe of the thermocouple is rotating with the milling tool, the thermocouple is mounted on the milling machine and it can be adjusted with it, allowing the measurement of the temperature of the rotary tool such as a milling tool, drill, and so on. In this thesis, the verification of the machine was first performed on a lathe machine on an A286 iron-nickel base superalloy, and then the temperature measurement of the shearing tool in the milling process on the stainless steel parts and the ST37 at the shear rate and the depth of the loads The results show that with a fairly accurate and quick installation, it can be used to measure the temperature of circular and non-circular shear tools.
